Privacy Policy

Information you give us. When you request a quote, contact us, apply for a job, or sign up for our newsletter, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email address, phone number, company name and business details, billing or project address, information about your project, and any files you upload.

Your account. If you create an account, we collect your email address (we sign you in by emailing a one-time code — there is no password) and anything you choose to add to your profile, such as your name, job title, phone number, company details, address, a profile photo, and how you heard about us. We also keep the things you do with your account, such as the Inspiration Board images you save, the collections you create, and the brochures you download.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically log basic technical information — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view — to keep the Site secure and running. We use only essential cookies: one keeps you signed in to your account, and a companion cookie tells the Site you are signed in. They last up to one year from your most recent visit, and signing out removes them. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We use the information we collect to:

• respond to your inquiries and prepare quotes;
• provide, manage, and deliver our fabrication services;
• communicate with you about your project or account;
• run your account — keeping you signed in, saving your collections, and pre-filling quote requests from your profile;
• follow up when you download a brochure — our team may reach out to see whether we can help with a project;
• send our newsletter or marketing emails, only where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time);
• operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site; and
• comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• with third-party service providers who help us operate our business — for example, website hosting, file storage, customer-relationship management, and email delivery — who may use it only to provide those services to us;
• when required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property; and
• in connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of assets.

We keep your information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — including providing our services, maintaining business records, and meeting legal or accounting requirements — after which we delete or de-identify it.

Marketing emails. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and we use a confirmed (double) opt-in for new subscribers.

Your account. You can view and edit your profile, change your email address, remove your photo, and delete your saved items and collections at any time from your account page.

Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us to access, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, including closing your account entirely, by emailing pr@thefactorynyc.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features of the Site may not work without them.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their policies before sharing your information.

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Policy.
